Indian markets trending up nicely

Thursday, May 31, 2007 Sage Leave a comment

Indian markets are trending up nicely and NIFTY is trying to reach 4300 again and again.

Some of the stocks I am looking this point are those making new all time highs.

Stocks like L&T, BHEL,BEL,Punj LLoyd and ABB from the Capital goods space

RIL,RPL from Oil and Gas

Divi’s Lab from Pharma space

Reliance Capital, HFC Bank,HDFC from the financials

JSW Steel and TATA Steel

Couple of more in the shipping sector like GE shipping and Bharti shipyard are also trending nicely

IT is looking weak, so I am avoiding the likes of INFY and TCS. I am not a contrarian investor,so don’t wish to waste my energies on taking a guess on rupee’s direction! Personally I feel, rupee is trending nicely UP against the dollar and till the trend reverses, it is futile to predict!
