Rocket Stock -Hindustan Oil Exploration

Hindustan Oil Exploration is one rocket stock I had picked around 155 levels. The stock has quickly moved to 267 levels in less than a month, giving returns of  60% in a month!

The stock continues to trend up and we will ride the stock till it reverses. To reduce my risk, I have trimmed the position size by booking profits. This is the process of being greedy as well as managing risk.

So why would one follow Suzlons and DLFs of the world? I will follow them when they start to make big moves.

All you need is couple of such big winners and you are through.I know not all of them would turn into big winners but even couple of such good trades more than compensate for the bad ones.

At this point, I won’t suggest chasing this stock as you might be caught on the wrong foot. This might very well be in the last leg of the current uptrend as more and more people identify the stock and pile on to it as the stock becomes irresistible!

    Hi Sage,

Sujeet- I’d advise you to start booking partial profits on the way up as the move has now become parabolic. Exit completely when the stock starts to reverse. It is simply not possible to put targets on such stocks.
      Hope this helps!
